A high school friend of Lee Whiting, Deep River Snacks’ VP of Sales & Operations, Glenn Landers had a life-altering accident at age 54. Glenn, always the life of the party, was jumping on a trampoline at a family outing in 2012. He slipped, and ended up paralyzed from the neck down. Glenn was treated at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA, one of the top ten rehabilitation centers in the US. The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation helps fund the research that makes the Shepherd Center such a great facility. Together with the C&DRF, we hope to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries, and to improve the quality of life for those living with paralysis.
