Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation

Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer FoundationWomen in the United States have a 1 in 8 chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some time in their lives.  The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation is a local Connecticut organization dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer.  Frustrated by the high overhead expenses incurred at many breast cancer non-profit organizations, founders Norma Logan and Sandy Maniscalco started the TBBCF, named in honor of their friend Terri Brodeur, who lost her battle in 2005.  This unique organization is able to provide 100% of their total gross funds raised to breast cancer research.

Why Do We Give A Chip?

Kim Martino, Deep River Snacks’ Operations Manager, was a longtime friend of Terri Brodeur’s.  Terri was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer in 2003, and lost her battle in October of 2005, leaving behind her husband and three children.  Together with the TBBCF, we hope to raise awareness of the prevalence of breast cancer, raise funds for research and ultimately find a cure.
