Charities we have supported

American Red Cross:

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides comfort to victims of disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; distributes international humanitarian aid; and supports veterans, military members and their families. The Red Cross is a nonprofit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to deliver its mission. Feed The Children:

We dare to envision a world where no child goes to bed hungry. To help create that world, we are dedicated to helping families and communities achieve stable lives and to reducing the need for help tomorrow—all while providing food and assistance to help them today.

Chris Klug Foundation:

CKF was founded in October 2003 by Olympic bronze medalist and liver transplant recipient Chris Klug. The Chris Klug Foundation is dedicated to promoting lifesaving organ, eye, and tissue donation and improving the quality of life for those touched by organ
donation. CKF uses the stories of transplant recipients, candidates and organ donors to inspire alongside events, school courses, and webinars to educate. All with the end goal of encouraging individuals to register as organ donors.

The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism:

Our programs and activities improve the quality of everyday life for people and families affected by autism along seven key dimensions that are critical to living each day fully.  We aim to provide a path for education and/or employment during the day; opportunities for physical and social activity outside of work/school; and the tools to be safe, supported, and informed at all times.

PSC Partners Seeking a Cure:

Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is a rare liver disease impacting 1 in every 10,000 people worldwide. PSC does not discriminate based on age, race, or gender. Many people eventually need a liver transplant, and PSC returns in approximately 30% of transplanted livers. Unfortunately, there is no known cause, few treatments, and no cure, but there is hope. PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to drive research to identify treatments and a cure for PSC while providing education and support for those impacted by this rare disease.

American Liver Foundation:

American Liver Foundation makes a measurable difference in the fight against liver disease by providing financial support for medical research, education for medical professionals, and advocacy and information for patients and their families, and by creating public awareness campaigns about liver wellness and disease prevention.

Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation:

Since our founding in 1967, the Foundation has played a role in every major breakthrough in IBD research. We have invested more than $400 million into finding the causes, treatments, and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. And we won’t stop until we realize our vision of a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.

Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation:

Women in the United States have 1 in 8 chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some point in their lives. The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation is a local Connecticut organization dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer. The founders Norma Logan and Sandy Maniscalco started the TBBCF, named in honor of their friend Terri Brodeur, who lost her battle in 2005. This unique organization is able to provide 100% of their total gross funds raised to breast cancer.

"It was the best day ever!"

We are so excited about our amazing longtime partnership with Deep River and look forward to doing some great things together in 2023.  Deep River Snacks are always a HUGE blessing and joy to the many kids and families that we serve throughout struggling communities and under-resourced neighborhoods across the region, who have minimal access to such healthy snack items like yours.

I wanted to share some heartwarming; inspiring photos and images captured during our Feed and Read Back to School events last summer at the Boys & Girls clubs in Patterson, New Jersey and Anaheim, CA.

“It was the best day ever” were some of the sentiments shared by many of the kids during these celebration events and you were a part of it.

Thank you for your team’s role and loving Deep River product contributions to help make joyful, fun-filled days disadvantaged kids and families.  We are so grateful for YOU, Angel, Heather, Julie, Joshua, and the Deep River-Wise Snacks team of champions, aligning hearts together to help make these kinds of spectacular events and days happen for kids and families across the nation.
